Jobs In Tech Episode 48 | Video | Breeze Airways

TechBridge recruits top developers and places them with the businesses that need their expertise.

Today’s episode of The New IT Podcast analyzes Breeze Airways, an airline that took off at the height of COVID-19, and how they’re using technology as a disrupter to stay ahead of their competition. The airline industry is old, and joining the competition is difficult. To make a name for themselves, Breeze Airways has utilized tech in an innovative way.

“So I’ve been at Breeze since before there was a single line of code, and they could have done something like hired a CTO from another airline to come in and start the project. But they really took a gamble on bringing in people to do the tech that hadn’t been with an airline. And that’s important and has brought us a long way because in the airline industry there’s so much status quo and there was a real need for people to ask “why?” Why do we do it this way?”

Brad Anderson, CEO of TechBridge, a Salt Lake City IT staffing company, and Bobby Glen James, Author, Speaker, and founder of BoTecha IT Support, along with guest speaker Jonothan, Director of Information Systems at Breeze Airways, look at the use of technology in an airline company. Specifically, they discuss the differences between the commercial side and the operation side of IT. Hear what these tech experts have to say on the subject in this week’s episode of the New IT podcast, “Come fly away with Breeze Airways?”
