“I think PHP is actually a solid language, especially with the release of version 8. It’s a lot more like using C and you can set it to be really strict with type checking and errors and whatnot. Where you have you have all the strictness of C that can help you as a programmer but also frustrate the heck out of you. Because you can set it so that it is ultra-strict so that the bugs are worked out of your code before you release it. And that’s one of the things I like about it.”
